FAQ
What are your standard shed sizes?
Unlike other providers, we are not restricted to standard sizes. We’re happy to assist you with your specific requirements.
We prefer the term typical rather than standard, but as a guide we have provided dimensions for both a single and double car Carport and Garage.
Single Carport – 3.6m (W) x 6m (L) x 2.4m (H)
Single Garage – Dimensions as above, add 1 x 2.4m (W) x 2m (H) Roller DoorDouble Carport – 6m (W) x 6m (L) x 2.4m (H)
Double Garage – Dimensions as above, add 2 x 2.4m (W) x 2m (H) Roller DoorsI don't want to spend a lot of money. Why does my quote include higher specification components?
All sheds are not created equal and we are bound by the unwavering laws of physics and engineering.
A small shed on a solid base and sheltered from the wind can be manufactured and sold quite inexpensively. A larger (heavier) shed, with wide spans and not sheltered from the wind, can experience large stresses and we need to propose stronger materials and manufacture accordingly.
Frame strength and price ultimately depends on the dimensions, specifications, use case and environmental factors. This will be covered during the sales process.
Does my shed have a warranty?
Eureka Garages & Sheds offers a 15 year structural warranty* and a 10 year paint finish warranty*, allowing you to rest assured that your shed will stand the test of time.
*Subject to Terms & Conditions.Eureka Garages & Sheds manufactures the shed - do you build the shed too?
Our business model revolves around the manufacturing, sale and delivery of shed kits through our extensive branch distribution network.
Eureka branches and agents will guide you through all aspects of the process, from design and sale to delivery. While we focus on manufacturing and supplying high-quality kit products at great prices, we can also refer you to third parties to assist with permits, concreting and erection.
We pride ourselves on manufacturing and delivering a superior kit product combined with excellent customer support.
From sale to delivery, how long is the process?
We don’t want to set false expectations.
The fastest turnaround time we’ve experienced for a standard shed is 2 weeks from sale to delivery. Larger, more complex sheds, requiring design, engineering, building approval, modifications & variations and resubmission for building approval all require a longer time period.
Typically, a standard shed can be delivered in as little as 4-6 weeks depending on complexity, manufacturing capacity, material availability, the customer meeting staged payment deadlines, having received building approval and foundations laid.
Purlins, girts, other shed jargon - what does it all mean?
